Goals
We wanted to create a unique tribute to legendary Indian singer Lata mangeshkar after she passed away in February 2022. Seeing how her songs and legacy affect millions of people across the globe, we wanted to build an interactive jukebox featuring songs from every decade of her singing career.
Our Solution
We designed an atrium with a crystal ceiling with panels set along its inner walls. Each panel had a few songs from one decade of Lata Mangeshkar’s career which visitors could play. Spatial audio meant that the sounds of the audio faded as you moved away. Avatars could interact with each other, turn their cameras on, and create a tune using a song synthesiser.
